Tried to install it several times and i ended up getting the “App not installed” message.
My phone is the LG G5 H850 running 6.0.1
Tried uninstalling the previous version and installing the new one with no luck, i even tried deleting the whatsapp folder from the internal storage and that didnt work.
Just guessing here, but this could be due to the apk signature.

The thing i like in the JimTechs whatsapp is that it has inbuilt password option and individual chats can also be locked. But according to me it has a bug from many previous versions that anyone may able to open Chat without need of password. And this bug is not resolved yet.
Here is the thing-
1. I go to my phone Gallery.
2. Select any file to share on whatsapp.
3 . And without need of any Password it shows my contacts.
4. If i clicked any one of the chat…then BOOM… It shows the whole chat.
Admin, I seriously respect your effort, work, intelligence. Please solve this bug.

I have one issue. Whenever I reinstall whatsapp it’s unable to restore my messages. It was an issue in the earlier version and still exists in 4.91 version too. How many times I reinstall and do it again it still doesn’t work. Please fix this. Other then that I love using this modded version whatsapp. Thumbs up for it.

Jim bro there is an issue with JT version. I am unable to use audio recorder and whenever an audio comes unable to play it. It gives error Sorry this media file doesn’t exist on your sd card.
This error is only in the JT version.
com version works fine.
Also before installing jt version i made a backup but it restored my older backup instead of current one.
Lot of themes crashes and I applied one theme by the name of “buhos” and my whatsapp kept restarting and I had to remove and reinstall to get my whatsapp working again.
Any help will be appreciated.

The com.whatsapp version doesn’t import backup because it makes a new folder “whatsapp”, instead on the original “WhatsApp”, this last one is changed to “WhatsApp Old”.
When you try to import backup data from previous version to the next one, move all folders in WhatsApp Old to whatsapp. Then reinstall the app and you will be able to import backup data again

Which phone are you using? Is there autostart option in your device which may be a reason to kill your app running in background (if your app is not in autostart option, it could kill your app running in background) if there’s no such options in your device’s any settings, you have to clean install your app by clearing all data and cache from app manager in settings.

I have a backup in the ‘WhatsApp’ folder but the new version can’t detect it cuz it’s renaming that to ‘WhatsApp old’. What to do now?
Copy all your whatsapp old data (all folders) in your new whatsapp folder and then go to phone settings/app manager, clear all data/cache and register.

Do a clean Install. Rename your whatsapp ir gbwhatsapp folder and go to settings /apps manager and clear all data and cache and register again with your mobile number. Once whatsapp identifies your mobile number with OTP, PRESS HOME BUTTON, go to your file manager and rename your whatsapp folder to whatsapp or gbwhatsapp as per your whatsapp app you have installed and restore your back up by going back to your whatsapp app.

But there’s some mistakes in apk renaming by you (I’m not sure yet if it’s done intentionally by you or not). Your whatsapp name (com.jtwhatsapp) creates com.gbwhatsapp folder in device. So I’m puzzled which folder it will create on device if i install your 3rd whatsapp apk (com.gbwhatsapp)? Your second apk (com.whatsapp) creates same folder as original whatsapp so there’s no problem in it. I didn’t install your third apk (com.gbwhatsapp) as i don’t want to mix up my data of (com.jtwhatsapp) as this one has already created gbwhatsapp folder on device. Hope you understand what i wanted to say.
Another issue is, my (com.gbwhatsapp) backup of theme is showing inside whatsapp folder and not in gbwhatsapp folder. And so, it shows two themes saved in whatsapp folder. Is that a mistake?
