Does the video call works? I was using the 4.95 version, I can’t make calls to the official WhatsApp which has now gotten a video call feature. And any time user use the official one to video me they receive a feedback like I need to update my WhatsApp to the latest version before I can receive video calls.
If this 5.0 version doesn’t work with the video calls, Then I guess I have to stick to the official version

Found bug…language changed to arabic after applying theme.
3 dots > JiMODs > Themes > More > Load > choose theme saved > restart
damn!!!….i have to reinstall numerous of time just to memoriesed the settings mwnu just to set back the default/english language…. since i dont speak arabic.
Ps: Just curious why this update not based on whatsapp beta which include the video call features…?

I follow gbwhatsapp installation but not able to restore my latest chats.
After uninstalling the initial version and installing the latest one i pick the restore option and the installation crashes

You should include those options in a new update, please. It’s pretty good and it helps you to customize whatsapp more.

How to backup my chat. Because when i update. All my chat gone.
To Users having problems Restoring their messages
we have three types of modes WhatsApp where by u choose one to download. We have com.jtwhatsapp, com.WhatsApp and com.gbwhatsapp.
Com.jtwhatsapp and com.gbwhatsapp creates different folders on your device in other words it has it’s own folders.
Choosing com.WhatsApp is the best since it uses the same folders of the official WhatsApp. That way u won’t have any problem restoring ur messages after installation of com.WhatsApp.
1. Install official WhatsApp from playstore
2. Do the normal process of installation
3. Restore ur messages from Google drive
4. After restoring, and finishing the normal process, go to Settings then chats then backup.
5. After restoring ur messages from Google drive, no need to do a back up to Google drive again.
6. Just do a local backup which back up ur messages to ur internal device storage.
7. When u are done, uninstall the official WhatsApp
8. Now install com.WhatsApp you have downloaded from jimtech.
9. Don’t tap on restore data
10. Just proceed and verify ur number
11. After that it will ask u if u would like to restore ur messages.
12. Tap on restore then wait till is finished.
That’s all. U can thank me later

Why it doesn’t restore my conversations from the Orginal WhatsApp? I really love JimTechs’ version, but I have important conversations, I can’t use JT version because it doesn’t restore my conversarion. I can’t lose those conversarions. Please, it can’t connect to Google Drive too, help us with restoring conversations! ?
